Addo Earrings

THE STORY
There is a star that dies by turning itself into something heavier than light, a black hole that pulls everything toward it without ever asking. I thought about that the night I made Addo. About the things in this universe that don't shine outward, they draw inward. Quietly. Irresistibly. The black Swarovski stone at the top is that kind of beautiful, dark, deep, the kind you fall into rather than simply admire. And then the chains begin. Bronze and endless, cascading like the aftermath of something cosmic, like the rings of a planet, like the tail of a comet that forgot to stop. Addo doesn't ask for your attention. She simply makes it impossible to look away.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I built Addo in three distinct layers, each one more dramatic than the last. At the top, a hammered oxidized copper piece shaped into an eye, the natural dark finish giving it that raw, ancient quality that no plating can replicate. At its center sits a black Swarovski tear-shaped stone, set deep into the copper like a secret the piece is keeping. Below it, a flat oxidized copper bar acts as the anchor, the structural moment before everything falls. And then the bronze chains begin, multiple strands of different lengths, cascading freely from the bar all the way past the shoulder. The earring fastens with a hoop closure, clean, secure, effortless.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Addo was made for bare shoulders and strong jawlines. Wear them with hair pulled back, a high bun, a sleek ponytail, anything that gets out of the way, and let the bronze chains fall the way they want to. They move with every turn of the head, every laugh, every glance across the room. Pair with a black strapless top or a deep V neckline and let Addo be the only conversation happening.
