THE STORY
I have always been a hoop girl. Big ones, small ones, gold, silver, it didn't matter. If it was a hoop, it was mine. But at some point I started feeling like the hoop had stopped surprising me. I knew exactly how it would sit, exactly how it would move, exactly what it would say. And I don't do things that stop surprising me. So I asked myself: what if I kept the spirit of the hoop but broke every rule it came with? What if I took that same continuous loop, that same closeness to the face, and rebuilt it in a language that felt more like architecture than jewelry? Ailia is my answer to that question. Same love. Completely different shape.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I built Ailia around a question: what if a hoop unlearned itself? I took the language of the classic hoop earring and I broke its logic deliberately. The silver-plated copper frame is bent into a hard rectangular path, all right angles, no softness. Mounted onto it: a genuine black box leather square, held at its center by a single silver rivet. The leather sits slightly off-center within the frame, the way a sculpture sits in a gallery room, never perfectly symmetrical, always intentional. The stud closure keeps the earring close to the ear so the full architectural shape drops and frames the jaw like a statement you don't need to explain.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Ailia belongs to the woman who treats getting dressed the way an architect treats a blueprint: nothing is decorative for its own sake, everything is there because it means something. Wear them with a structured turtleneck in cream or charcoal and let the frame do all the talking against a clean neckline. They cut beautifully against a sharp blazer with nothing underneath, or against a sleek high bun that leaves the jaw and ear completely exposed. Skip the layering. No necklace, no stacking. Ailia is the only argument in the room and it does not need backup.
