Alix Hand Chain

THE STORY

There is a kind of woman who doesn't need armor. She is the armor. I imagined her at 2am, standing in the middle of a room that had tried to break her. Not crying. Not leaving. Just standing there, chains falling across her hand like water, like she had already survived everything the night could throw at her and decided to look magnificent doing it. I didn't design Alix for an occasion. I designed her for a state of mind, the one you reach when you stop being afraid of taking up space. When you stop apologizing for being too much. Alix is not a bracelet. Alix is a declaration.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I handcrafted Alix from silver-plated copper chains, two rings connected by cascading chain fringes that drape across the back of the hand like a second skin made of silver. One ring wraps around the wrist, the other around the four fingers, and between them the chains fall freely, moving with every gesture, every turn, every moment your hand is in the air. The result is something between jewelry and sculpture, structured where it holds, wild where it flows. Alix fits a medium size, 17cm.

THE STYLING ADVICE

Alix was made for bare skin. Wear it against a strapless black dress or a sleeveless top and let the chains do what they were born to do; move, catch light, demand attention. Keep everything else minimal: no other bracelets, no stacked rings. Alix doesn't share the spotlight. The silver finish hits beautifully under stage lighting, candlelight, and flash photography, this piece was made to be photographed.
