THE STORY
I was watching the sun set behind a row of streetlights, the warm gold light cutting through the dark sky in clean, curved lines. That contrast, gold against black, smooth against textured, stayed with me. Althea came from that image, three curved gold segments broken up by braided black leather, with one section catching the light through a row of sparkling stones. I wanted something that felt refined but had an edge, a piece that sits close to the neck like a collar of light.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I crafted Althea using genuine black braided box leather, paired with hammered gold-plated copper segments that curve gently along the collar. One segment is set with a row of Zirconia 5A diamond-cut stones, adding a touch of sparkle against the matte gold finish. A small GA charm sits at the front, and a lobster clasp closure keeps the piece secure while staying easy to put on.

Althea sits close to the neck for a modern, sculptural look, pair it with an open neckline or a simple top so the gold segments and black leather take center stage.
