THE STORY

I was rereading one of my favorite books, and there's a scene where the main character finds an old gold bag in a vintage shop, worn, beautiful, carrying a kind of history you can't quite explain but can definitely feel. That image stuck with me, and it became the whole inspiration for Cyrene. I wanted to design something with that same quiet richness, a piece that feels like it has a story behind it, even before you've made your own memories with it. The buckle shape is a small nod to that bag's handle from the book, reimagined as something you wear instead of carry. It's about elegance with a little bit of mystery, the kind of piece that feels like it's always been part of your collection.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I worked with gold vegan leather, chosen for its soft shimmer and texture that catches the light without ever feeling flashy. The standout detail is the gold-plated copper buckle, shaped into a sculptural arc that mirrors the curve of a bag handle, cast and finished by hand until the edges feel smooth and intentional. Every stitch and rivet were placed with care, because this piece was never meant to feel mass-produced.

Cyrene wraps the wrist with a bold, structured presence, wear it stacked with thinner bracelets for contrast, or let it stand alone as the statement piece. Its metallic shimmer pairs beautifully with both gold and silver tones, so it works whether you're dressing up or keeping things simple.
