THE STORY
I found an old photograph tucked inside a secondhand book, a gypsy woman standing in front of her caravan, draped in rings of every size, mismatched metals catching the light like she had raided a hundred years of jewelry boxes and worn them all at once. Delilah is a multi-strand statement necklace built from bronze-plated copper chain, layered with rings wrapped in genuine box leather and a few rings in acrylic, mixing textures the way a gypsy collects treasures over a lifetime rather than buying them all in one place. I wrapped each leather ring by hand around its metal base, so the grain sits slightly differently on every piece, and let the acrylic rings catch light where the leather stays matte, creating a push and pull between shine and texture across the whole piece. A small engraved bronze medallion hangs at the center front, a signature detail that anchors the layers and keeps the eye moving. It closes at the back with a lobster clasp, sitting with weight and presence without ever feeling heavy to wear.
