THE STORY
I was looking at an old black and white photograph of a woman at a party, somewhere in the 1940s, I don't know who she was or where it was taken. She was standing slightly apart from the crowd, champagne glass in hand, head turned just enough that you could see her earrings catch the light. Everything else in the photo was still. But those earrings moved. Even in a frozen image you could feel them swaying, you could almost hear them.
