THE STORY

I was watching a film set in an old forest, and there was this one scene, a woman walking through tangled branches and vines, with these delicate curls and tendrils catching the light as she moved. I couldn't stop thinking about that image afterward, something wild, but still elegant, like nature had been shaped by hand. That's exactly the feeling behind Hilde, a hoop that twists and curls like a branch caught mid-growth, with little scroll-like details winding along its length. It's organic, intricate, and a little bit mysterious, the kind of earring that looks like it has a story of its own, even before you put it on.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I shaped Hilde in bronze-plated copper, forming a long, curved hoop with a subtle S-shape that mimics a vine bending under its own weight. Along the length, I added small scroll and swirl details, twisted, looped, almost like tiny tendrils branching off, giving the piece a handcrafted, almost botanical texture. The warm bronze tone adds to that earthy, vintage feel, like something found rather than made.

Hilde works beautifully with hair pulled back, so the full curved shape and all those little details are visible. It's understated enough for everyday wear, but the texture gives it just enough character to stand out.
