Houri Belt

THE STORY
A friend of mine showed up one day without a belt and I asked her why. She said she hates metal closures, that they always ruin her outfits, catch on her clothes, dig into her waist, leave marks. She just wanted something that held without hardware. I could not stop thinking about that conversation. Because she was right. The buckle was never the point. The waist was the point. The shape was the point. So I made a belt that does exactly what it needs to do, hold, define, and disappear into the outfit, with nothing but leather holding leather. That conversation became the Houri.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Houri is cut from genuine brown box leather, wide and structured. The closure is a leather loop stitched directly onto the belt, through which the tail threads and holds without any buckle, pin, or hardware. Just leather holding leather. The GA signature disc sits quietly on the side as the only metal detail on the entire piece. Clean, considered, and completely intentional. Fits small and medium sizes. Width: 6cm.

THE STYLING ADVICE
The Houri was made to define the waist without shouting about it. Wear it over a flowing dress, a loose blazer, or an oversized shirt and watch it pull the entire look together in one move. The warm brown works beautifully against black, white, cream, and olive, making it one of the most versatile pieces in the GA collection. Wear the tail hanging loose to the side for something more relaxed, or tuck it in tight for a cleaner, more structured look.
