THE STORY
I was at an old shipyard, looking at the heavy chains coiled on the dock, some rusted dark, others worn smooth and bright from years of use. That contrast, dark against light, heavy against fluid, stayed with me. Karleen came from that image, multiple chains in silver and black silver layered together, draping over the shoulders and arms like something pulled straight off that dock and reshaped into armor. I wanted a piece that felt unapologetic, heavy with presence but fluid in movement, something that takes over the body instead of just sitting on it.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I crafted Karleen using a mix of silver-plated copper and black silver-plated copper chains, layering different chain styles, curb, figaro, and link, into a multi-strand collar that extends into draped shoulder pieces on both sides. A small GA charm sits among the chains at the front, and the entire piece is fully adjustable, allowing the drape to sit exactly where you want it across the shoulders and arms.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Karleen is made to take over an outfit, wear it over a bralette or strapless top and let the chains fall freely across your shoulders and arms for a full-body statement. Its mixed metal palette pairs effortlessly with black, denim, or neutral tones, and works for editorial-style looks, festival outfits, or anything that calls for serious edge. This is a piece that doesn't blend in, it commands the room.

For long-lasting shine, apply a small amount of moisturizing oil (like coconut or olive oil) to a soft cloth and gently buff the piece.
