THE STORY
Every culture in history has had a story about the snake. In some, she is evil. In others, she is wisdom. In all of them, she is power. She is the only creature that sheds her entire skin and comes out new, unbothered, more herself than before. I have always thought that women and snakes have more in common than people are comfortable admitting. Both are feared when they should be respected. Both are called dangerous when they are simply aware. I made the Lindie for the woman who has already shed everything that no longer served her and is moving forward with her head held up and her eyes wide open.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
The Lindie necklace is a malleable iron core wrapped entirely in genuine boa-print leather, supple and textured, that you shape around your neck however you want, no closure, no rules. The snake's head hangs at the end, sculpted in bronze-plated copper with a deeply textured, almost lifelike finish, and black crystal stones set into the eyes that catch light like something that is actually watching you. The Lindie ring is also sculpted in bronze-plated copper, a small snake coiled around the finger with the same black crystal eyes, fully adjustable to any finger.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Wear the Lindie necklace wrapped twice around the neck like a choker with the head dropping down the chest, or looped once lower for a more dramatic fall. Pair it with a deep neckline, a blazer over bare skin, or a simple black dress and let the snake do everything. Wear the ring on whichever finger feels right. There are no rules for a woman who already knows what she is. Keep everything else minimal. The Lindie is already the loudest thing in the room.
