Olesia Set

THE STORY

In 1974, a female architect named Olesia submitted the most radical urban design proposal of the decade, a self-sustaining city built on the moon. The studio that commissioned it read the blueprints, sat in silence for a long time, and then told her it was too ahead of its time. They pulled the funding. They shelved the project. They moved on. She never did. Those blueprints survived, rolled up in a cardboard tube, carried across four cities, never thrown away. I found them in a flea market in Milan on a Tuesday morning, bought them for nothing, and spent the rest of the day staring at them. The geometry. The suspended structures. The two perfect spheres she had drawn at the center of everything, the gravity anchors that would hold the entire city in balance. That night, I went to my workbench and I built Olesia. Not jewelry. A monument to the woman who was right before anyone was ready.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I built the Olesia Set entirely in hammered silver-plated copper, every surface hand-textured to carry that raw, architectural finish that makes the metal feel like it came from somewhere beyond this world. The necklace is a double open-arc rigid collar, two parallel curved bars that sit at different levels on the collarbone, open at the front, from which two long fine-link drop chains descend with a single 5A diamond cut zirconia accent mid-chain, each ending in a large hammered silver sphere, weighty, deliberate, impossible to ignore. The earrings mirror that same sculptural language, an S-curve architectural ear hook in hammered silver, dropping into a fine chain with a zirconia accent and the same hammered silver sphere at its end. Every element, the arc, the chain, the sphere, references Olesia's original blueprints. The gravity anchors are still holding.

THE STYLING ADVICE

Olesia was made for black. All black, always; a structured turtleneck, a sheer top, a tailored blazer, anything that turns the body into a canvas and lets the silver architecture do what it was designed to do. The necklace needs a bare or clean neckline, the double arc sits best on skin or a simple crew neck that doesn't compete with the collar's geometry. Wear the earrings alone on days when you want the conversation without the full statement. Wear the full set when you want people to ask questions. Pair with nothing else, Olesia is an entire design language on its own. This is not a set you style. This is a set you inhabit.
