THE STORY
There's a quiet kind of confidence in asymmetry, the way one side falls longer than the other, the way silver chains cascade unevenly down the chest like they were placed by instinct rather than rule. Oma is feminine in the truest sense: soft, fluid, deliberate. The cascading black pearls add weight and contrast against the silver, grounding the piece with a touch of elegance. This is a necklace for the woman who doesn't need symmetry to feel complete.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I made Oma from layered silver-plated copper chains of varying lengths, creating an asymmetric drape that moves naturally with the body. Acrylic pearls in deep black are placed along the design, some clustered, some standalone, adding visual weight and a soft, organic contrast to the cool metal. The piece fastens with an extension chain closure, allowing the length to be adjusted for the perfect drape. Every chain was placed with intention, balancing structure with movement.
THE STYLING ADVICE
Oma was made for V-neck and wrap tops, where the asymmetric drape can fall naturally against the skin. Wear it with monochrome outfits to let the silver and black pearls stand out, or layer it over a blazer for an unexpected touch of softness in a structured look. This is a piece that adds movement and femininity to even the simplest outfit.
