Pamela Ring

THE STORY
I sketched Pamela at midnight, and I remember thinking, this is not a ring, this is a declaration.
I had been sitting with this idea for weeks, the idea of something that does not just sit on a finger but rises from it, something that looks like it grew out of the hand itself. Two claws, two flames, two points reaching upward like the hand was on fire and completely unbothered by it. I wanted Pamela to be the kind of piece that makes people stop mid-sentence when they see it. The kind of piece you wear when you have already decided that today, you are the most interesting thing in the room.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Pamela is hand-sculpted from matte gold-plated copper, shaped into two rising flame claws that sit across the ring and pinky finger together, connected at the base by a wide open band. The matte finish gives the gold a raw, almost molten quality, like the piece was pulled straight from fire and left exactly as it was. Small gold studs are scattered across the surface, catching the light just enough to add depth without breaking the wildness of the silhouette. The band is adjustable, securing both fingers firmly while the claws rise freely above them.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Pamela is not background jewelry. Wear it on the ring and pinky finger of whichever hand you want the world to look at first, and keep everything else on that hand completely bare. It belongs with strong, clean looks, a sharp blazer, an all-black outfit, a bare shoulder, anything that lets the hand carry the moment. Do not compete with it. Do not try to balance it.
