THE STORY
I was looking at an old chandelier in a hallway, the kind with long crystal strands hanging unevenly from a central ring, some shorter, some pooling on the floor. That uneven drape stayed with me, structured at the center but wild at the ends. Sandra came from that image, multiple braided strands gathered through a central ring, then falling into a long, tassel-like drop that moves freely as you walk. I wanted a piece that draws the eye downward, a long line that breaks the usual rules of where a necklace should end.
THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I crafted Sandra using genuine braided black box leather, with multiple strands gathered through a silver-plated copper ring at the center, then falling into a long fringe of varying lengths. A lobster clasp closure keeps the piece secure at the back of the neck, while the front drop falls open, loose and dynamic with every movement.
THE STYLING ADVICE
Sandra is made to be worn open, slip it under a draped neckline or an unbuttoned shirt and let the central ring sit at the chest while the long fringe falls freely below. Its all-black palette pairs effortlessly with denim, white, or neutral tones, and the silver accent at the center pairs beautifully with silver jewelry. It's the kind of piece that adds drama to even the simplest outfit.
