THE STORY
The call came before the stone did. Nawal Zoghbi's office reached out asking for something for her interview and her new music video, something that would hold its own next to her. I sat with that request for a while, because you do not dress a queen in anything ordinary. My mind went straight to Nefertiti, the piece that started this whole story, and I knew instantly it needed to be elevated, reworked into something worthy of exactly who she is. This was not a variation of Nefertiti. This was an heir, made with Nawal in mind from the very first sketch, built to stand beside a woman who has spent her career being unforgettable. Nefertari was born that day, the most beautiful one, made for the one Lebanon already calls beautiful.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Nefertari is built on the same foundation as Nefertiti, high-polish gold-plated copper shaped into the wide crescent collar and cylindrical cuff, but reimagined with a rare genuine pink agate stone at its heart and clusters of genuine freshwater pearls and a single genuine grey pearl woven through gold leaf detailing that climbs across the metal like vines. I hand-set the agate slice so its natural bands catch the light differently with every movement, and I placed each pearl individually rather than in a fixed pattern, so no two angles of the piece look the same. The collar closes at the back with a lobster clasp and adjustable chain, sitting flat against the chest, while the cuff wraps the forearm through an open, adjustable back. Only two of this set exist in the world.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Nefertari does not accessorize a look, it becomes the look. Wear the collar directly against bare skin, a plunging neckline, or a sculptural gown, anything that lets the agate and pearls sit uninterrupted at the center of the chest.
