Thalia Ring

THE STORY
I was going through an old jewelry box one afternoon, the kind that belonged to someone before me, and at the very bottom, wrapped in a piece of velvet, there was a brooch covered in colored stones.
Deep blue, rich green, and a scatter of white that caught every angle of the light. I held it in my palm for a long time, thinking about the woman who once wore it, how she must have felt extraordinary in it, how something that alive with color could not possibly go unnoticed. I did not want to make a brooch. I wanted to put that same feeling on a finger. That afternoon became Thalia.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I built Thalia on a gold-plated copper base with an adjustable open band that wraps around the finger and opens at both ends. At the top, two deep blue Swarovski stones frame a rich green Swarovski stone at the center, all set in gold prong settings along a pave band of round white Swarovski stones. Below, a cascade of marquise-cut white Swarovski stones fans outward like a crown turned upside down, dramatic and deliberate. Every stone is chosen for its depth of color and clarity, and together they create something that feels less like a ring and more like a jewel.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Thalia is a ring that belongs at the center of attention. Wear it on the index finger for a look that feels editorial and intentional, or on the middle finger for something more commanding. It pairs beautifully with deep jewel tones, a rich emerald dress, a cobalt blue blouse, or an all-black look where the stones do all the color work. Keep the rest of the hand bare and let Thalia carry the moment completely. This is not an everyday ring. This is the ring you wear when the evening deserves it.
