THE STORY

I designed this necklace for the woman who has stopped explaining herself. Who has stopped shrinking to fit spaces that were never built for her. THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I built Sharla entirely in bronze-plated copper, chosen specifically for its raw, ancient warmth and the way its matte finish absorbs light rather than reflecting it, giving the piece a weight and depth that feels sculptural rather than decorative. The collar is a hand-shaped wavy flat copper bar that sits across the upper chest, connected at the back by an adjustable fine-link chain for a seamless, secure fit. From the front bar, multiple free-form copper tendrils cascade downward, each one individually hand-bent into an organic, non-repeating wave formation that moves independently with the body. Every tendril is a different length, a different curve, a different angle, because nothing in nature is symmetrical, and Sharla never pretended otherwise. Each strand ends in a solid ball tip, grounding the piece with quiet precision. The result is a necklace that is part sculpture, part statement, and entirely alive.

THE STYLING ADVICE
Sharla belongs on bare skin or the simplest possible base, a white strapless bandeau, a black off-shoulder top, a neutral bodysuit with nothing else. She needs the chest as a canvas and she will use every inch of it. The bronze finish is extraordinary against warm and dark skin tones, absolutely electric. For cooler tones, pair with earthy neutrals, camel, terracotta, ivory, that let the bronze lead. Wear her with no other necklace, ever, Sharla does not share territory. A simple gold or bronze cuff on the wrist is the only accompaniment she'll accept. This is a necklace for the woman who walks in and changes the air in the room.
