Wilma Earrings

THE STORY
I was sketching freeform shapes on a notepad during a long flight, doodling loops and circles without thinking, when one of them came out looking like two rings overlapping in an off-balance way. That imperfect, organic shape stayed with me. Wilma came from that doodle, a hammered silver hoop intersecting with a pearl-beaded circle, two shapes that don't quite align but somehow work together. I wanted a piece that felt fluid and handmade, with pearls softening the raw, sculptural silver.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
I crafted Wilma using hammered silver-plated copper, shaped into an open, freeform hoop, intersected by a second hoop made of strung white pearls. A small GA charm hangs from the center, connecting the two shapes. The earrings close with a stud closure, sitting comfortably along the ear with the hoops falling naturally below.
