THE STORY

Some pieces are worn. Zaila is wielded. This is a belt for the woman who doesn't ask for space, she takes it, wraps it around her waist like armor, and dares the room to keep up. THE CRAFTSMANSHIP

I made Zaila from black box leather, chosen for its structure and matte depth, a material that holds its shape and its attitude. The studded straps cross and layer intentionally, creating movement without losing the belt's commanding silhouette. Cascading silver-plated copper chains add a rebellious shimmer, draping with just enough looseness to feel undone, on purpose. Every detail, from the silver-tone buckle to the placement of each stud, was designed to make this belt feel less like an accessory and more like a statement piece you put on before you walk into a room like you own it.

THE STYLING ADVICE

Zaila was made to be the loudest thing in a quiet outfit. Wear it cinched over a white button-down and ripped denim for an off-duty, undone-glam look, let the chains hang free for movement. For an evening look, layer it over a slip dress or tailored blazer to break up clean lines with raw texture. This is a belt that doesn't need an event, it creates one.
