Zell Stiletto

THE STORY
I was getting dressed one morning and I looked at my shoe rack and thought, why does matching always mean identical. Why do both feet have to tell the same story. We do not think in one color. We do not feel in one color. We are never just one thing at any given moment, so why should our shoes be. I took black and white, put them on opposite feet, switched everything around, and suddenly the shoes made more sense than any matching pair I had ever owned. That thought, that small refusal to be symmetrical, became the Zell.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Each Zell is cut from genuine box leather in black and white, but what makes them a pair is precisely that they are opposites. One shoe has a black base with white straps, the other has a white base with black straps. Both feature a pointed toe, multi-strap detailing across the foot, and long lace-up ties that wrap around the ankle and lower leg however you choose. The GA logo is embossed on the insole of each shoe. The 11cm stiletto heel is sleek and sharp, as intentional as everything else about this pair.

THE STYLING ADVICE
The Zell works with everything and nothing at the same time. Wear them with all black, all white, or anything in between and they will create a contrast that makes the whole outfit feel editorial. Wrap the laces high up the calf for a dramatic gladiator effect, or tie them low at the ankle for something more understated. Cropped trousers, a mini dress, a midi skirt with a slit — anything that lets the shoes be seen from the ankle down is the right choice. Do not overthink it. The Zell already did the thinking for you.
