THE STORY
I once stood in front of a display of ancient warrior artifacts, fragments of broken armor and shields dug up from battlefields centuries old, and I could not stop staring at how beautiful destruction can be. Every piece was cracked, uneven, worn down by something violent, yet none of it looked weak. It looked earned. I thought about the women history calls fierce, the ones remembered for surviving things that should have broken them, and I wanted to build something that carried that same unapologetic roughness. Megara took her name from a woman in myth who paid a devastating price and still became a symbol of strength rather than tragedy. This piece is not polished perfection. It is armor with a history, texture that refuses to apologize for its edges.

THE CRAFTSMANSHIP
Megara is built from silver and black silver-plated copper, its surface deliberately textured and weathered to look like metal that has survived something. The necklace opens into a fringe of elongated dagger-shaped drops in varying lengths, hanging from an organic, hammered centerpiece and framed by two irregular round medallions, all suspended from a bold curb chain. A small engraved medallion sits discreetly among the drops, a quiet signature within the chaos. The earrings are intentionally mismatched, one a long dagger drop, the other a fragmented, raw-edged shard, echoing the same broken-but-beautiful language as the necklace without repeating it. Every texture is hand-worked to look organic and irregular, so no two spikes or shards catch light in quite the same way. The necklace closes with an adjustable chain, and the earrings sit secure with a stud closure.
